Know History played a key role in crafting a captivating historical exhibit for the brand-new Parks Canada visitor center in the heart of Tulita, Northwest Territories. The exhibit shares the story of the Sahtu Dene and Métis people and their connection to the land that is now the Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve.

We collaborated with community members and consultants to explore the community’s stories, memories, and traditions. To piece together Nááts’įhch’oh National Park Reserve’s rich history, we combed through archival sources, gathered historical images, conducted oral history interviews, and developed a comprehensive literature review—all to support the development of the final exhibit. Lastly, we drafted a compelling final report to summarize our research findings and share the area’s unique history.
