Following the success of the Columbia Basin Trust book, Know History was asked to write a second book showcasing the history of the Trust’s partner organization, Columbia Power Corporation.
We were tasked with creating an engaging narrative that balanced Columbia Power’s technical achievements with its human stories. Our team combed through Columbia Power’s corporate archive and interviewed past and present leaders and staff.
The finished book chronicles Columbia Power’s development of three hydroelectric projects and its ongoing success managing four generating stations in British Columbia’s Kootenay region. Like the first book, it captures the reader’s attention using archival images and custom photography.
